Inkhorne Terms October 2015

I’m a word nerd (what writer isn’t?) and I love many of the words that have dropped out of common use. Each month I’ll be featuring one strange old word and its definition. To be entered into a contest to win a copy of any of my books, just leave me a sentence containing the word on this post. This one will be open until November 15th, when I shall choose the sentence that made me grin with glee the most 😉
This month’s word is….

BIBLIOPHAGIST
one who devours books, literally or figuratively

For more archaic words, visit The Phronistery (unless you have a deadline to meet, in which case stay well clear, because you’ll be lost for hours)
