I’m a word nerd (what writer isn’t?) and I love many of the words that have dropped out of common use. Each month I’ll be featuring one strange old word and its definition. To be entered into a contest to win a copy of any of my books, just leave me a sentence containing the word on this post. This one will be open until December 29th, when I shall choose the sentence that made me grin with glee the most 😉
This month’s word is….
FROSTWORK
the delicate tracery formed by frost, especially on glass.
